PPE Supplier Partners with National Organization
To Help Kids, Teens and Families Stay Safe
LOS ANGELES -- Boys & Girls Clubs of America and SQ Medical Supplies, provider of personal protective equipment (PPE), today announced the launch of the “Facing Our Youth” campaign where SQ Medical Supplies pledges to donate face masks and $100,000 in support of the organization that serves kids, teens and families throughout the country.
With cold and flu season around the corner and concerns mounting about a shortage of PPE amid the COVID-19 pandemic, SQ Medical Supplies partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to help protect young people and their families during this critical time.
“Kids and teens throughout our country face a stark reality from the COVID-19 pandemic, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a vital resource for our youth and communities,” said Jonathan Lim, chief executive officer of SQ Medical Supplies. “As the weather gets colder, more people will be staying inside, and having access to high-quality face masks is important to help reduce the transmission of the virus.”
Running for the next 12 months, the “Facing Our Youth” campaign will support Boys & Girls Clubs of America the following ways:
• A portion of the sales from anyone who purchases face masks and respirators from SQ Medical Supplies will go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs COVID-19 Relief Fund.
• SQ Medical Supplies will donate face masks and respirators to Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.
“Extraordinary times call for extraordinary acts of generosity, and we are grateful to partner with SQ Medical Supplies to help the young people and their families connected to Boys & Girls Clubs protect themselves and their community against the novel coronavirus,” said Jim Clark president and CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “Wearing a face mask is a relatively simple act with huge implications for the health and safety of our society, and partnering with SQ Medical Supplies aligns perfectly with our mission to help young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens during these unprecedented times.”
